Lia went a couple of days to the Mapic in Cannes with her colleagues Joop and Arjan. The weather was beautiful and she said it was hard (terras) work. Anyway she had a good time in France. Directly after she returned to Abbenes Johan left for Zeeland to spend the traditional 'Gentlemens weekend'. Maybe you remember last years Golden Horn rowing event with the gentlemen in Istanbul. Jan Willem, Evert, Erik, Rob and Johan had a great time catching up and the images above emphasize this understatement.hahaha.
The other day I passed a car shown above with the text Tuz Golu on it. Last summer when we spend the weekend in Capadocia we passed that salt lake. What a coincidence this Turkish businessman named his company after that. Can you imagine Johan taking a picture from that, while driving his car??
We dress up this Istolbul edition with some typical Dutch scenes in autumn.
Other then Johan caught a little cold, we are doing fine.

Last weekend we went to Maastricht to join the NRW meeting. We met a lot of Dutch retailers, developers and investors and it was good to talk old and new business. It happened to be also the 11th of the 11th and for carnaval lovers this was heaven (although it was raining quite a lot). Great to see so many strange people. At moments like that it is good not to be too normal... The next day Johan also witnessed the PSV victory upon Ajax in Amsterdam despite a great effort of Ajax to impress everybody in the grandstand. Lia will leave for Cannes tomorrow to join the Mapic. So life is almost normal again..

Last week we celebrated Mike's birthday in Arnhem. We met his parents, brother and sister and their partners. Lots of fun and something to repeat in the near future. We are very jealous upon Lidwien, Mike's mother who will spend a shortweek in Istanbul ! for vacation!. We also took the opportunity to visit the Musiskwartier project. We bumped into Sander van Bodegraven, Alderman of the Municipality. He said that everybody was very pleased with the project. Good to hear. So lots of good news from our (web)side.
