Last day at work and now vacation...
Dear everybody,
Yesterday it was our last day at the office. Our dear colleagues arranged a good bye gathering. We appreciated this very much. As you noticed this Istolbul website changed colour and language. Our Turkish 'children' insisted we keep the site in the air after we depart for Holland, because the last 1,5 year(s) we informed our Dutch children and friends in Dutch and now it is time to do the same in English for them.
So, fasten your seatbelts, this site is in English from now on. We might use once in a while a Dutch word, but that should be an exception. Today we leave for a - long time ago planned - vacation in Fethiye and Gocek with our (grand)children and Dutch sailing friends.
July 3rd we shall be back in the air again, thus the coming weeks it will be silent on this website.
We found a house in Holland in Abbenes: August 28th we hope to move in and everybody is welcome to visit us.
These 1,5 years were very special to us and Istolbul will inform you soon,

he luitjes, nog een paar weken voor jullie in istolbul. nou nog een paar nachtjes slapen en dan komen Marijn en ik de boel onveilig maken in istolbul! we hebben er erg veel zin in. Zijn de handdoeken en lakens volgende week al ingepakt of hoeven we ze niet mee te nemen? Verder nog wensen uit het hollandse? een dozijn ontbijtkoek, spek of iets dergelijks? verder nog de vraag of julle ons kunnen komen ophalen maandagochtend? ik mail nog wel de tijden, waarschijnlijk 11.30u
